The French Riviera, specifically the Nice area is well-known internationally as a top destination for its beauty, its weather, and its amazing cuisine. Paula Semaan realized this was the solution to the loneliness she felt during the COVID lockdown.
Paula decided to head to the French Riviera and establish Co d’Azur, a coliving, coworking community in Cote d’Azur in the South of France.
“Co d’Azur is a community of digital nomads, remote workers, entrepreneurs, and startuppers who gather in beautiful villas in the French Riviera,” Paula said.
She added that the villas have swimming pools, gardens, amazing views, and a coworking space with a good internet connection.
In Co d’Azur, residents can enjoy a multitude of activities. The day starts with movement sessions whether that be yoga, pilates, or HIIT, then after the end of the working day, the residents can go to discover the area and learn French through fun games.
On the weekends they organize fun activities like hiking, wine tasting or cycling, and roller skating along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, as well as rafting, canyoning, or partying.
Co d’Azur Coliving caters to individual nomads as well corporate events like team building and workshops or retreats. Paula added that they are planning to add a babysitting or child assistance service so that more parents can also enjoy their digital nomad life and relax.
Upon signing up, you can be added to the Slack community to plan your stay and get to know the residents that will be there at the same time as you. “We have an event starting on the 29th of April till the 13th of May. It’s over two weeks, so you can choose the week you prefer and join us,” Paula said.
