We’re looking for a community manager (Lenk)!

Position Title: Community Manager for our hub in the Swiss Alps (Lenk)

Position Type: Part-time (Half-time) Volunteer – approx 10 hours/week.

Location: Lenk, Swiss Alps, Switzerland

 

About Us:

We are building a new hub nestled in the breathtaking Swiss Alps, designed exclusively for digital nomads, remote workers and entrepreneurs seeking an inspiring environment to live and work. Our hub community emphasizes work-life balance, exploration, and meaningful interactions. As a community builder, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a dynamic and supportive atmosphere for our diverse group of residents.

The workation is organized by Hubs.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Community Builder, you’ll be an integral part of fostering a welcoming and engaging environment for our residents. Your role will involve:

  • Organizing Weekly Activities:

Plan and coordinate two activities per week that align with our residents’ interests and the unique offerings of the Swiss Alps.

Activities could include guided hikes through scenic trails, arranging local meetups to connect with the community, and organizing excursions to explore other captivating destinations within Switzerland.

  • Guest Welcoming and Interaction:

Greet new arrivals and ensure they settle comfortably into their private apartments.

Foster connections between residents, encouraging them to share experiences, skills, and ideas.

Facilitate icebreaker events to help new residents integrate into the community seamlessly.

  • Supporting our guests:

Understand the unique needs of our guests, providing assistance and resources for their professional endeavors.

Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange among residents, fostering a sense of camaraderie.

Requirements:

  • Passion for building and nurturing a community of like-minded individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for organizing engaging activities that cater to a diverse group.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in English (German is a plus – Lenk is in the German part of Switzerland).

 

Duration:

This volunteer position is available from Sep 25th to Dec 22nd. (dates can be flexible)
